My name is Marcela Žihlová and I am an English and Russian translator. I have been a keen language learner since childhood. It is not just the the language itself that fascinates me, but above all the opportunity to gain insight into a different culture through its language and understand it from the inside. 

I am a graduate of English and Russian Philology at Palacký University Olomouc and since the beginning of my career as a translator I have been focusing on legal, technical and marketing translation. I attend specialized seminars and courses on a regular basis, cooperate with colleagues, who are experts in their field, as well as with native speakers, and keep learning to continuously develop my skills and improve my knowledge.
